Hasanuddin University once again held Unhas Open Day (UOD) to introduce the campus to high school students who will be taking the university entrance exam. The two-day event, from Saturday (February 7th) to Sunday (February 8th), began at 8.30 WITA at the JK Arena (GOR Unhas) on the Tamalanrea Unhas Campus in Makassar.
Prof. drg. Muh. Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D,. Sp.BM(K), Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, in his presentation, hoped that the UOD 2026 activity would provide a space for prospective new students to obtain information regarding their desired faculties.
“This activity is not only aimed at prospective new students, but is also open to parents of students and the general public,” he said.
Dr. Rahmansyah Dermawan, S.P., M.Si as the Chair of the UOD Committee of the Faculty of Agriculture had the opportunity to introduce the Study Programs at the Faculty of Agriculture, saying that the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas experienced a significant increase in world ranking.
“The Faculty of Agriculture is currently one of the most sought-after faculties in Indonesia due to its enormous potential,” he said.
Furthermore, Dr. Rahmansyah invited prospective students to learn more about technology-based millennial agriculture that is currently being developed by visiting the laboratory and Experimental Farm (Ex-farm) at Faperta through a Campus Tour that was carried out alternately during the two days that UOD was held.
