Affan Wahyudi, an Agribusiness Student from the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, Wins a Silver Medal at the 2026 Asian Games.

Muhammad Affan Wahyudi, a student in the Agribusiness Study Program at Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta Unhas), has achieved international success. Affan was part of the Indonesian National Esports Team in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) category at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, and won a silver medal for Indonesia.

This achievement came after the Indonesian MLBB National Team advanced to the final. On their way to the final, Indonesia faced several teams from other Asian countries. After progressing through the semifinals, Indonesia secured a place in the final and a chance to compete for the gold medal.

Affan Wahyudi is one of six athletes representing the Indonesian national team in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang category. He joins Alexander Owen Marcetami Buhe, Arif Fudin Dingarai Putra, Dalvin Ramadhana Putra, Syauki Fauzan Sumarno, and Albert Neilsen Iskandar. The team is assisted by Kenny Deo as coach and Michael Abraham as assistant coach.

Affan’s participation in the Asian-level sporting event is a proud achievement for the Faculty of Agriculture and Hasanuddin University. While still a student, Affan successfully fulfills his role as both an academic and an esports athlete, representing Indonesia in international competitions. This achievement also demonstrates the diverse opportunities available for students to develop their potential and achieve beyond academics.
