






A series of ASIIN international accreditation visits to four study programs at the Hasanuddin University campus officially took place on May 6–7, 2026. Bachelor Programme in Agrotechnology in the Faculty of Agriculture was one of the visited programmes. This activity is part of an effort to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen international academic standards within the faculty.
On the first day of the visit, the agenda focused on assessing various academic aspects implemented in the Agrotechnology Undergraduate Program. The assessor team reviewed the learning system, curriculum, evaluation methods, supporting facilities, and academic quality management. During the visit, the Bachelor Programme in Agrotechnology demonstrated a strong commitment to improving educational quality through ongoing evaluation and improvement.
In addition to the academic presentation session, the assessor team also conducted on-site visits to several learning and research facilities within the Faculty of Agriculture. The focus of the visit included the experimental farm and various laboratories supporting student learning and research. The visit aimed to directly observe the implementation of practice-based learning and research processes within the faculty.
Entering the second day, the visitation continued with an in-depth discussion session with current students, alumni, partners, and faculty. The discussion was interactive, focusing on the study program’s capacity to implement various academic improvements and developments that have been undertaken over the years. Participants also shared their experiences, input, and perspectives on the quality of learning and the relevance of graduates in the workplace and society.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rismaneswati, SP., MP, stated that the development of educational instruments will continue, particularly in the technological aspects that support the learning process and the development of sustainable agriculture. According to her, the use of technology is a strategic step towards creating an agricultural education system that is adaptive to global challenges and capable of producing competent and innovative graduates.
Through this ASIIN visit, the Faculty of Agriculture hopes to further strengthen academic quality, educational governance, and graduate competitiveness at the international level. The event also serves as a platform for evaluation and strengthening collaboration across the academic community in realizing superior and sustainable agricultural higher education.
