The condition to be realized in the future journey of the Faculty of Agriculture (2014-2018) is the development of the Faculty of Agriculture as:

This vision contains the following definitions and indications of achievement:

The Education Center is intended that the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas will increasingly create a comfortable, beautiful and pleasant atmosphere for the development of science and technology activities in agriculture through learning, research and community service. The atmosphere as a park is physically characterized by the availability of learning, research and supporting facilities and facilities that meet international quality; and non-physically characterized by scientific activity and the interaction of the academic community that manifests a consistently universal system of values and academic norms.

It is intended that the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University will increasingly occupy a leading position compared to other agricultural faculties in Indonesia, judging from the indicators that apply nationally and internationally related to learning and teaching performance, research and publication of scientific papers, as well as community service. The leading position will contribute to the achievement of Hasanuddin University towards a world-class university.

Character is intended that the output of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University has a character that therefore enables it to contribute optimally to the progress of Indonesian agriculture in particular and human civilization in general. In terms of the alumni produced, the external identity of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas is characterized by character as human resources who have ethical-spiritual and rationality-holistic competencies and capacities. In terms of the scientific work produced, the external identity of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas is characterized by concepts and technologies that manifest innovations for agricultural progress that are in line with natural sustainability and sustainable welfare.

2. MISSION

To achieve the vision mentioned above, the mission of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas is as follows:
Organizing education and research in the field of agriculture and natural resources in an integrated manner, which is relevant to the development of development

Organizing community service, and transferring agricultural science and technology to the community and industry.
Mastering, developing, and implementing agricultural science and technology and natural resource management.

3. GOALS

The objectives of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas are as follows:

1. Producing graduates who are adaptive, independent, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are responsive to changes and advances in science and technology
2. Producing innovative scientific works in the field of agriculture and natural resources to enrich the characteristics of science and technology.
3. Expanding networks and increasing the role of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas through the popularization of information and innovative ideas in the field of agriculture and natural resource management to improve community welfare.

4. VALUE

In carrying out the activities of the Tridharma of Higher Education, the Academic Community of the Faculty of Agriculture upholds and practices the following values:

M = Mandiri
A = Adaptive
N = Real work

The following is an elaboration of the meaning of each value word/phrase (TAMAN):

Tauladan. In carrying out the duties of the tridarma of higher education, the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas must be an example for the development of similar institutions in this region. Similarly, its alumni, who have ethical-spiritual and rationality-holistic based abilities, competencies, and capacities that can be exemplified by society.

Amanah. The entire academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture carries out the duties of the tridarma with full sincerity, with the foundation that all of this is to get ridha, which is a mandate that must be accounted for.

Mandiri. At the age of nearly half a century, the Faculty of Agriculture must show stability, and have independence. Likewise, its alumni who because of their knowledge, skills, technology, and ethics-spiritual provisions will have independence in taking part in the community.

Adaptive. The Faculty of Agriculture and alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture are adaptive, who can always adjust to the dynamics of the times (economic, social, cultural, and technological aspects).

Nyata works. All academicians of the Faculty of Agriculture should work in a real way for the progress of the nation and contribute to the change of civilization.
