The Master of Agricultural Engineering Study Program was established on September 17, 2009 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3019 and 3024/02.2/2009. Graduates from this Study Program have an academic degree of Master of Agriculture. The learning method applied in the Master of Agricultural Engineering Program is the Student Centre Learning System (SCL system). Students are considered capable of organizing themselves in increasing their capacity. Effective lecturers or course coaches are only as mediators and motivators in the process. The learning system is carried out face-to-face (lecturing classes, discussions, presentations, and tutorials), assignments that directly apply the knowledge and technology obtained, laboratories (guided and independent), and semi-independent research and writing. The preparation of the curriculum is in accordance with the vision and mission of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program and is based on references from several Masters program curricula at domestic universities and foreign universities, as well as paying attention to input from agricultural development implementers and other users (state-owned companies, private companies) that can support the achievement of the desired graduate qualifications according to the objectives of the Study Program.
