Faculty of Agriculture Unhas Facilitates Excellent Service Training for Education Staff with the Theme "Change in Mindset and Work Culture of Ethical ASN"

Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University facilitates Excellent Service Training activities for Education Staff with the theme of Changes in Mindset and Work Culture of Ethical ASN. Taking place on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Agriculture Hall starting at 8.30 WITA until finished, Saturday (17/5).

Dean of Faperta, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salengke supports the Excellent Service Training as a form of integrity towards the university. According to him, similar activities should be held at least once a year to show the seriousness of Faperta in providing the best service.

“We hope that the material presented by the speakers today can be a reference and applied in the work environment,” said Prof. Salengke.

Also present were Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H., M.Hum (Vice Dean for Resources, Alumni, and Information Systems) and Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Nasaruddin Salam as the resource person for the activity.

In her presentation, Prof. Farida linked changes in mindset to daily habits. She said that a positive mindset will actively increase good habits that can affect the provision of maximum service.

“Good service can build public trust in work units which can have a positive impact or image for the agency as a whole,” she explained.

Prof. Dr. Ir. H Nasaruddin in his material introduced the term Mindset Shifting, or changing the way of thinking and mental attitude towards various aspects which in this case are related to the service aspect. According to him, mindset shifting is needed because changes in life will continue to occur and the world is developing rapidly, forcing individuals to adapt to change.

“Change is often seen as something risky that cannot be predicted and controlled, so what we can do is get out of our comfort zone but into a better comfort zone,” he continued.

The activity ended with the provision of games to improve cooperation and participant confidence.
