Dr. Zainal hopes that the students who attend will gain more knowledge about agriculture or even consider entering the agricultural major when they graduate. He explained that the application of technology in the agricultural sector requires young generations to advance Indonesian agriculture.

Adji Firmansyah as the head of the accompanying teachers said that the purpose of the visit was so that students could see the university’s environment firsthand. He hopes that the visit can trigger student motivation, especially about how important research is for the future in various academic fields.

“We also want to provide guidance and experience to students and use these two things as a reference that can later be used as provisions when entering university so that they will get used to it,” he added.

The activity continued by opening a question and answer session, students were given the opportunity to ask questions about agriculture and matters related to Unhas University. At the end of the activity, a plaque was presented by representatives of SMAN 8 North Luwu to the Faculty of Agriculture and souvenirs were handed over by the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University.
