The Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, held a Yudisium and Gathering of Graduates for the June 2023 period. It took place on the 1st floor of the Hall of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, starting at 13.45 WITA until finished, Tuesday (27/6/2023).
Starting the activity, the reading of the minutes by Prof. Dr. Ir. Salengke, M.Sc as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. Furthermore, the reading of the names of the graduates by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. rer. nat. Zainal, STP., M.FoodTech as well as reading the names and awarding plaques to the best graduates by the Deputy Dean for Planning, Resources and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rismaneswati, SP., MP.
In his remarks, Prof. Salengke told the participants not to hesitate to go anywhere in this country. He added that many Unhas agricultural alumni have developed businesses in remote areas so that opportunities for alumni are wide open in many places.
“The Unhas Faculty of Agriculture has produced approximately 13,000 alumni. In order for all alumni to get good provision, we are trying to change the method of learning to equip students with knowledge and experience,” he said.
Prof. Salengke further hopes that agricultural graduates not only understand skills but also understand morals and have good personalities.
“We have been equipped with the knowledge to practice various fruit and food processing. Lots of skills has been taught like in agrotechnology which utilizes various technologies so that alumni can take advantage of this knowledge to start their own business,” he said more.
