The Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, held a Yudisium and Gathering of Graduates for the March 2023 Period. It took place on the 1st floor of the Hall of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, starting at 13.45 WITA until finished, Tuesday (28/3).
The activity began with the reading of the minutes by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salengke, M.Sc. Furthermore, the reading of the names of the graduates by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. err. Nat. Zainal, STP., M. FoodTech.
On this occasion, Prof. Salengke conveyed his remarks and pride to the prospective graduates. He expressed his gratitude to the family and guardians who had taken the time to attend even though some of them were fasting.
He also said that prospective graduates had produced great works while studying at the Faculty of Agriculture. For him, this has shown the quality of knowledge of graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas.
“I want to entrust this alma mater to you all. Let’s take care of our alma mater together, let’s magnify its name, let’s make its name fragrant,” he said.
Prof. Salengke also mentioned the development of hybrid corn varieties by the Faculty of Agriculture. He hopes that both agricultural graduates and students in the future can develop other varieties as a form of contribution to food security.
After the remarks, the event was followed by reading the names of the best graduates by the Deputy Dean for Planning, Resources and Alumni, Dr. Ir. Rismaneswati, SP., MP. Ending the event, the awarding of plaques to each of the best graduates was accompanied by a group photo.
