The Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, held an Academic Service Improvement Workshop as an ongoing effort to enhance the quality of service to service users and the academic community. The event took place in Idea Room 2, first floor, Hotel Unhas & Convention, over two days, Saturday and Sunday (December 13-14).
The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unhas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rismaneswati, SP., MP. In her remarks, Prof. Risma emphasized the importance of conducting annual academic service evaluations as an effort to improve services.
“Responsive and prompt academic service quality can build trust and satisfaction, especially among students. This can also enhance the reputation of the faculty and university,” she explained.
Furthermore, the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Nurfaida, SP., M.Si in her remarks discussed the strategies that need to be implemented in the future, especially maximizing the use of technology in improving services.
“I hope that as service providers, we can discuss and provide constructive feedback for the sake of excellent service,” she said.
The workshop continued with a presentation of material by Susy Asteria Irafany, S.T., M.Si (Head of Sub-Directorate of Educational Administration, Unhas) and Ishaq Rahman, S.IP., M.Si (Head of Public Relations, Unhas) which was followed by a discussion and question and answer session.
